Our outpost in Granite is only 15 minutes from Main Street in Buena Vista where you will find incredible restaurants to enjoy after your ziplining adventure. Sitting outside is one of the best parts of summer. Below are our favorite restaurants in Buena Vista that have awesome outdoor seating and incredible food. The assortment of food between the three restaurants ensures everyone in your group will be satisfied no matter their dietary restrictions.                

1. Simple Eatery & Spoon It Up

Simple Eatery & Spoon it up is a one-stop-shop for your post-zipline hunger. This restaurant has fresh casual dining, an artisan bakery, and a frozen yogurt bar. You will find local and clean ingredients prepared with no MSG, preservatives, or chemicals. Their menu features a wide array of dishes from beef stroganoff to a chicken and pesto panini, but they are most known for their burgers.

The Eatery has a large outdoor patio that is perfect for experiencing the warm Buena Vista sunshine. Simple Eatery & Spoon It Up is located right in the downtown of BV on Main St. and N Colorado Avenue.

2. House Rock Kitchen

House Rock Kitchen is located on Main Street in Buena Vista and has an extraordinary outdoor activity courtyard. The courtyard has a boccie court, horseshoe pit, Giant Jenga, a frisbee golf tee with putting discs, and plenty of shaded seating. For the kids, there is a magnetic building wall to play with. The best part of it all? The views of Mt. Princeton!

The menu offers a variety of different cuisines from BBQ to Indian to Greek. If you or anyone in your crew has a dietary restriction, House Rock Kitchen is the place to go. Their food is “gluten lite, dairy lite and 95% soy/GMO/corn and sugar-free”. If you are gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegetarian, there are plenty of options.

3. Wesley & Rose Lobby Bar

The Wesley & Rose Lobby Bar is in the Surf Hotel and is pricier than the other restaurants. They have a wonderful happy hour every night from 4 pm to 5 pm. All 13 taps of draft wine and beer are half off! The patio at Wesley & Rose Bar is right on the Arkansas River. Watch rafters and kayaks take on the whitewater rapids as you enjoy your meal. This restaurant and hotel are located on South Main by the river.

The menu rotates seasonally ensuring the best ingredients are used in dishes. There are extensive options to pick from on the dinner menu. You will see everything from pizza to lobster mac and cheese to Colorado lamb pops. Wesley & Rose Lobby Bar also has a delicious brunch that features classic breakfast items with a twist like the jumbo lump crab benedict or their “It’s Firing” bloody.
