Mark your calendar for the fourth annual Dynamite Days Street Festival in historic Idaho Springs, CO! Dynamite Days is a yearly celebration of the deep mining history of the small Colorado town. This Saturday, October 8th from 11am – 10pm, Idaho Springs will once again host this exciting event in Citizens Park, near 16th and Miner Street..

Dynamite Days Festival is an annual street festival hosted in historic downtown Idaho Springs, a small mining town just about 30 minutes outside of downtown Denver. Join in on the celebration of the rich mining heritage of the town with some incredible live music, children’s activities, entertainment, food, drink and shopping from a variety of local, regional and national vendors. This event is completely free! Tommyknocker Brewery, a favorite among our guides in Idaho Springs, will be serving up cold brew throughout the festival.

Dynamite Days Festival isn’t the only thing happening this weekend in Idaho Springs. Make sure to visit the Georgetown Loop Railroad in Georgetown, a short drive west of Idaho Springs, for the Pumpkin Festival on the Train. The Pumpkin Festival will take place on both Saturday and Sunday. Head over to the Silver Plume car museum for a bounce castle, games, facepainting and pumpkin decorating for the kids!
