The village at River Run offers a fun and spontaneous environment for all ages. There is easy access to three mountains of skiing and snowboarding via the new River Run Gondola and Summit Express Chairlift. After a day on the mountain, the village offers a great range of nightlife with its restaurants and bustling apres ski bars. Located at the base of Dercum Mountain, Mountain House gives you convenient access to the many attractions that Keystone Resort offers. This is a great place for families with children due to the easy access to the children’s ski school, the children’s center, retail shops and restaurants. Keystone Lodge and Spa is one of Keystone’s most popular lodging destinations offering over 150 guest rooms. They also offer a shuttle service to get you to and from the mountain. Located at the base of Keystone Mountain in River Run Village, Kickapoo Tavern serves casual American cuisine in a laidback pub environment. It’s a convenient location makes it a great stop for lunch or dinner after day on the slopes. Hiking in Keystone

As one of the peaks encompassed by Keystone Resort, Dercum offers a variety of routes to explore. Take any of the many ski trails if you feel like challenging yourself by heading straight uphill. Want to meander a bit more? Try one of the bike trails, rates from easy (green) to hard (black) – just keep an eye out for mountain bikers heading downhill. For those who want to enjoy the scenery without a strenuous hike, there’s also the option to take the gondola from the base area of Keystone and then hike back down.

The Baker Mountain Trail is a fun and scenic trail that starts at the top of Loveland Pass. This short but sweet trail crosses a saddle on the Continental Divide and only has 500 ft of elevation change. While the ascent up to Baker Mountain is quite steep at parts, the short distance makes this hike achievable for even families with children, and you will rewarded for your efforts with spectacular views at the summit.

Located on the eastern shore of Lake Dillon, the peninsula is home to the Dillon Reservoir Recreation Area, which includes a most flat dirt road and two hiking trails: the Meadow Loop and the Ridge Trail. Those seeking a leisurely stroll with great views of the lake, the Gore Range, and the Dillon Marina, can enjoy the main road which is mostly closed to vehicles (the Denver Water Board has access). The hiking trails will lead you away from the main dirt road into the Dillon Nature Preserve, where you’ll want to keep an eye out for numerous species of birds, foxes, deer, and other wildlife. Follow the Ridge Trail up to the ridge for great views across Lake Dillon towards Swan Mountain and the Ten Mile Range.
